The Land of Fuck
“To ‘fuck’ is humanity at its purest and its most base, at its highest form of intimacy and lowest. It is a word and an action that divides the generations, divides the sexes, divides the moral compass. At the same time, of course, it creates.”
This work explores the word fuck and its transformation throughout history from a highly censored word to its present expressive acceptance. Through a theatrical and exploratory landscape, The Land of Fuck (a fable) explores all meanings of the expletive, from the sensual to the mundane, blending bodies and movement with sound, found objects and spoken word.
