The Land of Fuck (a fable)

“You will perhaps never look at another French Horn or piece of parchment the same way again. Prepare yourself to be Blown and Torn.”
– Dobbernationloves

The Land of Fuck (a fable) explores a simple word – fuck – and its transformation throughout recent history from a highly censored word to its present expressive acceptance though D.A. Hoskins’ signature hybrid of dance, theatre and performance art. Defining a period in evolution that is of the immediate – the here and now – through a theatrical and exploratory landscape. The Land of  Fuck explores all meanings of the expletive, from the sensual to the mundane, blending the bodies and movement of nine of Toronto’s most outstanding interpreters with sound, found objects and spoken word.
