Oz Weaver is a Toronto based lighting designer, production manager and producer who has helped create over 75 shows. Select lighting credits include; The Sony Centre (Glenn Gould Gala with Dreamwalker Dance), The Glenn Gould School (Co-LD with Kim Purtell- Don Giovani), Harbourfront Centre- The Enwave Theatre (Enter the Shadow), ProArteDanza (Short Stories, 2013 S.I.P., & 2013 Fall Season), Kim Purtel (Various associate & assistant roles: Canstage- Race, Buddies in Bad Times–Arigato Tokyo, Factory Theatre– HeartStop & Soul Pepper-LaRonde), The Grand Theatre (Assistant to Louise Guinand– Shirley Valentine, Sherlock Holmes, Kingfisher Days), Beal Musical Theatre (Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera, Into the Woods, Beauty and the Beast, Children of Eden, Fame & Les Miserables), Type Cast (Lazer Blade, Synthetica, Missed Connections & Tomato Soup/MECHA) & The Dietrich Group (Tour Lighting Director for PARIS1994/ Gallery, LD for I am an animal) . He has been nominated for a Brickenden award, and has won two Dish Awards for his designs of Into the Woods & Phantom of The Opera.

Oz Weaver is currently the Executive Director & Producer for The Dietrich Group. He was the production manager with the triple Dora nominated show PARIS1994/Gallery which was presented at Harbourfront Centre’s World Stage Festival and was the Producer & Production Manager when it toured to Singapore- Esplanade: Theatres on the Bay, October 2012. Oz has been leading the administrative & producing arm of The Dietrich Group for half a year and was integral in booking the continuing tour of the Land of Fuck to Dance Dance in Montreal 2014.
